The OnePlus 12 is the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone model. But prior to its official release, the high end device was spotted on a new certification platform, revealing its fast charging prowess. So here are all the details.

OnePlus 12 surfaces on CQC

The Chinese smartphone maker’s upcoming smartphone was spotted on the CQC certification platform carrying the model number CPH2581. Just last week, the OnePlus 12 also visited the TDRA and EEC databases as well. Looking at the online listing, we can see that the device offers support for 10W (5V/2A), 80W (11V/7.3A), and 100W (11V/9.1A) fast charging over a USB Type-C port. The device is believed to offer 50W wireless fast charging as well.

OnePlus 12 Global

This basically confirms that the global variant features the same fast charging rate as the Chinese version. Unfortunately, finer details regarding the smartphone are still at large. However, a previous 3C certification also confirmed the 100W fast charging rate. In another recent report, we also covered that the OnePlus 12 will feature a Sony LYT-808 primary camera on the back, which is paired with 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera that offers 3x optical zoom.

The premium grade handset will sport an X1 OLED display manufactured by BOE that is confirmed to offer 2K resolution and 2,600nits of peak brightness. The OnePlus 12 is also the first ever smartphone with a 2K resolution to receive the DisplayMate A+ rating. It also appeared on Geekbench with the with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 16 GB of RAM, and the Android 14 OS.
