Chinese tech giant Huawei has teamed up with Thermos to launch a smart thermos flask under the Smart Selection brand in China. It is the Huawei Smart Selection Thermos Smart Insulated Cup Pro. It comes with a touch-sensitive OLED screen for viewing the temperature.
The new Huawei smart thermos cup can sustain the temperature of its content for up to six hours. It offers both heat and cold insulation using premium smart technology to deliver healthy drinking water. Huawei says the new thermos cup brings a new smart drinking experience for users. The smart Thermos cup is designed for multiple drinking instances and it can be used in all seasons.
The Huawei Smart Selection Thermos Smart Insulated Cup Pro supports Hongmeng Zhilian technology and it can be recognized via NFC when brought close to the Huawei phone. Users can use the Huawei Smart Life app to check the daily/ weekly/ monthly drinking water report. It affords the user to fully understand the water consumption compliance in each cycle and make adjustments.
Pricing
The OLED screen is at the cup lid of the device and displays the water temperature when touched. There are four color indicator lights to indicate ice, cold, warm, and hot water temperature states inside the Thermos cup. The Huawei Smart Selection Thermos Smart Insulated Cup Pro is priced at 369 yuan (~$51). There is no global availability information for the smart Thermos cup at this time.
