Samsung has begun rolling out the stable Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update to the Galaxy S22 series in Europe. The update was previously available to beta testers, but it is now being made available to all Galaxy S22 users in the region.

The update is expected to be rolled out to other regions in the coming weeks. To check for the update, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and Install. The update is approximately 3.1GB in size (via Sammobile).

Galaxy S22 One UI 6 update

This is the second major Android OS update for the Galaxy S22 series. Samsung has promised to release four major Android OS updates to the series, and it has now delivered two of them. The Galaxy S22 will also receive the Android 15 update in late 2024 and the Android 16 update in late 2025.

One UI 6 introduces a plethora of new features, including substantial visual alterations to the Quick Settings panel, the Lockscreen, and the Notification panel. 

Additionally, it introduces a new Studio video editor app, a novel Auto Blocker setting to enhance the device’s security, and an assortment of other minor improvements.
