Signify has announced the new Philips Radii Wall and Pedestal lights. The two new gadgets have integrated motion detection sensors that increase the brightness of the lights. The Philips Radii Wall and Pedestal lights are designed to illuminate your outdoors when arriving or leaving the home.
The two new Philips Radii lights use Ultra Efficient technology in their operation, making them more reliable. The Pedestal light can be mounted on a short pole while the Wall light is mounted on a wall. Two brightness modes are available in the two new Philips Radii solar-powered lights.
The ambient light is emitted at night but the brightness increases when any movement is detected within its range. The lamps can be linked to simultaneously trigger the higher brightness when motion is detected. This is especially useful in environments where energy saving is an important consideration while keeping the surroundings well-lit. The lights can run for up to six nights when fully charged but can be continuously recharged via solar panels extending the usage time even more.
Pricing & Availability
The Philips Radii new lights can withstand the weather elements (rain and sunshine) without rust or corrosion. The lights have a life cycle of 50,000 hours and come with a 5-year warranty. The Philip Radii Pedestal light is priced at €99.99 while the Wall light will retail for €89.99 in Europe. The lights are expected to be available from January 2024. There is no global availability information for the new solar lights at this time.
