Anbernic is keeping the festive spirit alive with the upcoming release of the RG35XX Plus, an upgraded version of their popular RG35XX handheld gaming console.
Anbernic RG35XX Plus console specs:
While the screen size remains at 3.5 inches, the dual-boot feature allows users to seamlessly switch between the stock Anbernic OS and Black Seraph’s Garlic OS. While Android is an option, it won’t come pre-installed.
Gaming enthusiasts will be thrilled to learn about the expanded compatibility of the RG35XX Plus, now capable of running PSP, Nintendo DS, and Dreamcast games. Leaks also suggest a new battery door mold, hinting at the potential for a removable battery with a larger 4500mAh capacity, ensuring extended gameplay.
Addressing user feedback, Anbernic promises “better ergonomics” with adjustments to the shoulder button design. The device’s versatility extends to HDMI out, allowing seamless TV connection, and Bluetooth controller support for shared gaming experiences.
Scheduled for pre-sale on November 25, 2023, at 18:00 Beijing Time, the RG35XX Plus is expected to be competitively priced. Last but not least, the console will arrive in white, gray, and transparent black color options.
