Acer has just unveiled a new gaming laptop from its popular Nitro series. The new model in question is the Nitro V 16 (ANV16-41), which arrives with capable hardware aimed at casual gamers. So here’s everything you need to know regarding the fresh gaming laptop.

As the name suggests, the Acer Nitro V 16 sports a 16-inch display. This screen arrives in WQXGA or WUXGA options, 165Hz refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 3ms response time. Under the hood, the gaming laptop is equipped with the new AMD Ryzen 8040 series processors (up to a Ryzen 7 8845HS CPU). This processor is paired with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU that offers DLSS 3.5 technology for video games.

Memory options include up to 32GB of DDR5 5600MHz RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. These specs are cooled by a dual fan system to keep thermals in check. Other notable features include WiFi 6E, DTS X: Ultra, Acer PurifiedView, Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0, 1x USB 4.0 Type C, 2x USB 3.0 ports, and 1x HDMI compatibility. It runs on the Windows 11 operating system and even comes with one month of Xbox Game Pass for free. Notably, the Nitro V 16 appears to be the direct successor to the Acer Nitro V, which was launched back in September 2023.

The Acer Nitro V 16 has been announced for the North American market. It will be available for purchase in the region in March 2024, with a starting price tag of 999.99 US Dollars. The laptop is set to launch in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East in April 2024, with a starting price tag of 1,199 Euros.
