Intel has introduced the latest Core Ultra mobile processors at the “AI Everywhere” event, signaling a transformative phase in personal computing. These processors, built on Intel’s 4 process technology, employ Foveros 3D advanced packaging, representing a significant architectural shift with dedicated AI acceleration across CPU, GPU, and the newly integrated neural processing unit (NPU).

Supporting over 100 independent software vendors (ISVs) and boasting more than 300 AI-accelerated features, Intel aims to position AI PCs as the dominant force in the PC market by 2028, reshaping the way users work, learn, and create.

In addition to these features, the processors support up to 16 cores, 22 threads, and the next-gen Intel Thread Director. With a maximum turbo frequency of 5.1 GHz, they provide a substantial performance boost. Memory capacity reaches up to 64 GB LP5/x and an impressive 96 GB DDR5. Supporting Wi-Fi 6E and discrete Intel Wi-Fi 7, the processors ensure seamless connectivity. Intel Bluetooth LE Audio enhances the audio experience, while Thunderbolt 4 connectivity offers speeds of 40 Gbps for lightning-fast data transfer. OpenVINO toolkits support further enhances AI performance, making these processors ideal for AI-driven applications.

The Intel Core Ultra mobile processors are now globally available, set to power over 230 AI PCs from leading partners like Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and more. This marks a significant advancement in personal computing, where efficiency, computation, and AI converge to redefine the user experience.

Acer has already announced its Predator Triton Neo 16 laptop powered by the new Intel Core Ultra CPUs. The machine is tailored towards both gamers and content creators.
