A new model has been introduced under the BenQ Zowie gaming series monitors. It is the BenQ Zowie XL2586X monitor with a maximum refresh rate of 540Hz and a special controller. It also comes with height adjustment for use by persons of different heights. It is operated via its external controller to achieve various picture modes.
The Zowie XL2586X monitor is possibly aimed at professional e-sports players who will benefit from the monster speed of the device when competing. The monitor can seamlessly perform excellently even when playing super-fast games, according to Zowie. It has reinforced bezels mounted on the left and right sides of the monitor. The Zowie XL2586X has a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and brightness of 320cd/ sq. meter. It has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels which is adequate for displaying video games fluidly.
BenQ is known for a slew of high-performance monitors and the new model is within this category. The high refresh rate of the monitor can only be achieved on a PC via DP 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 interfaces. The monitor can be connected to a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/ S console with a maximum 120Hz refresh rate. There are three HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort 1.4 port on the monitor. Another functional feature of the monitor is the presence of height adjustment. The height of the monitor can be adjusted precisely and the package includes a height chart. There are various modes controlled by the external controller including playing films and gaming.
Pricing & Availability
The BenQ Zowie XL2586X monitor is available on pre-order in the US for $599. It will also launch in the EU by February 2024, but there are no global availability details yet.
