The new leak reveals that the Honor Pad 9 will arrive with a 12.1-inch paper eye-protecting soft light screen with AG etched glass technology, eliminating 98 percent of reflected light for a comfortable and glare-free viewing experience. Under the hood, the device will feature the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.

Under the hood, the Honor Pad 9 will feature the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and an 8,300mAh battery that supports 35W fast charging. It is speculated that the HEY2-W09 and HEY2-W19 devices that have been spotted at the 3C certification recently are variants of the upcoming Honor Tablet 9. In all likelihood, the device will run on Magic OS 7.2-based Android 13.

The Pad 9 is expected to ship with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of built-in storage. The device seems to be equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera. For audiophiles, the device will come equipped with eight speakers, like its predecessor. The tablet will come in shades like black, white, and green.

The HEY2-W09 variant received approval from the TDRA authority in November, indicating that the tablet will soon be available in the UAE. It is unclear which other markets will be receiving the device.
