Honor has unveiled a new mid-range phone dubbed the Honor X8b in Saudi Arabia. The handset is an enhanced version of the Honor X8, announced in March of this year. Instead of an LCD panel, the X8b features an AMOLED display, better cameras, and some other improvements. Here is a look at the specifications, features, and price of the X8b.

The Honor X8b measures 161.05 x 74.55 x 6.78mm and weighs 166 grams. It has a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, 3240Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits. The device runs on Android 14 and Magic OS 7.2 UI, which comes with support for Magic Capsule notifications feature.

The pill-shaped cutout on the Honor X8b’s display houses a 50-megapixel selfie camera and a soft-LED flash. The back panel of the device features a 108-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

Under the hood, the Honor X8b features the Snapdragon 680 chipset and a 4,500mAh battery that supports 35W fast charging. The device comes in multiple configurations, such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. The device comes with other features, such as a dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0G, GPS, a USB-C port, and a side-facing fingerprint sensor.
