Xiaomi recently announced Mijia Label Printer Kit, priced at 139 yuan ($20), is now available for purchase following its crowdfunding on the Xiaomi Youpin platform.

This portable printer stands out for its thermal printing technology, which eliminates the need for ink, thereby avoiding ink stains. It’s designed to be suitable for room-temperature storage, ensuring the printed labels do not discolor easily.
The printer is compact, making it convenient for storage, and comes with three rolls of label paper. These rolls include two white and one transparent, all made from waterproof and oil-resistant material. A unique feature of this printer is the ability to support custom label lengths, allowing users to cut labels to their desired size with ease.
In terms of functionality, the printer offers several convenient features. Users can print the current date with a single button press, and create custom quick labels with a double-click. These features make the printer versatile for various applications, such as home organization, office labeling, and schedule management.
The label paper used with this printer is of high quality, being waterproof, oil-resistant, and durable. The labels are designed with an easy-to-peel adhesive and an openable back, which adds to the ease of use. The product adheres to GB/T 28210-2011 standards, as verified by testing reports from the China Quality Paper Inspection and Certification Co., Ltd.
The Xiaomi Mijia Label Printer integrates seamlessly with the Xiaomi Home App. The app provides a variety of label styles and allows users to set message push reminders for printed labels and schedule reminder labels. Notably, the printer supports offline printing, adding to its convenience.
Earlier this month, Xiaomi also launched several Mijia products, including the LCD Blackboard with a 39″ display, split-screen support, and dust-free writing, priced at $33. Additionally, they introduced the Smart Gas Stove S2, featuring auto shut-off and gas cut-off functions.
