Dangbei has announced the launch date and pricing for the Atom laser projector. The ultra-portable Atom was showcased in January during IFA 2023 and is touted as the thinnest laser projector from Dangbei. It is also the first Dangbei model to support Google TV. The Dangbei Atom is scheduled to go on sale on January 8, 2024. There is also a pre-order period for the gadget within which customers can get the product at a discounted price.

Features

The Dangbei Atom is a compact projector that packs more features than a bigger traditional projector. The brand is claimed to help users seamlessly transit from traditional home cinema projectors to the new device. It is 1.87 inches high and weighs 2.82 pounds, but its petite and lightweight design belies its capabilities. Dangbei claims the Atom will compete effectively against popular brands like the Wemax Go and Go Advanced. It has a maximum brightness of 1,200 lumens and is ALPD-enabled.

It is claimed that the projector improves color performance and intelligent image adjustment which is a bit vague. The projector features 3 color temperature presets and RGB gain adjustments, as well as a screen resolution of 1080p. The projector can screen images up to 180 inches and supports third-party apps installation via Google Play Store.
