Oppo has released a new teaser for the upcoming Find X7 series, indicating that its unveiling is imminent. As seen in the new poster below, the company has confirmed that the Find X7 series will feature Sony’s latest LYT-900 one-inch camera sensor, reportedly an upgraded variant of the existing Sony IMX989 camera sensor. Additionally, a recent leak from tipster Digital Chat Station has unveiled the specific camera sensors that will be present on the Find X7 and the Find X7 Ultra. Here’s a comprehensive breakdown of the camera specifications for both smartphones:

The aforementioned poster confirms the presence of the 50-megapixel LYT-900 camera sensor across the Find X7 series. Specifically, it will serve as the primary camera in the Find X7 Ultra’s quad-camera system.

The Find X7 Ultra’s camera setup is further expected to include a pair of 50-megapixel periscope telephoto cameras, offering 3x and 6x optical zoom, respectively. The leaker revealed that these will be the IMX890 and IMX858 camera sensors, respectively. For capturing ultra-wide shots, the Find X7 Ultra will be equipped with the LYT-600 50-megapixel camera sensor.

In contrast, the Find X7 will feature a triple camera unit comprising a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS stabilization. It will be accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, utilizing Samsung JN1 and OmniVision OV64B camera sensors, respectively.

As previously known, the Find X7 will be powered by the Dimensity 9300 chipset, while the Find X7 Ultra will be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Version, the third model in the X7 series, is expected to share the same specifications as the Find X7 Ultra but will feature two-way satellite communication as an additional feature. A recent report claimed that the Find X7 series may debut in the second week of January 2024.
