Although CES is still a couple of weeks away, Geekom has shown its hand already. The mini PC manufacturer has three new machines, called the IT 14 Pro, the A8 Max, and the APro8 Max, meant for different use cases. All three of these machines come with cutting-edge Intel and AMD chips.
Leading the pack is the IT14 Pro, a compact 0.7L mini PC featuring the Intel Meteor Lake Core Ultra 7-155H processor. Packed with dual-channel DDR5-5600 RAM and dual SSDs, it’s a productivity beast. The 4nm Ultra 7 chip boasts a 20% boost in CPU multi-core performance, while the Intel Arc i-GPU offers a whopping 90% performance boost. Notably, the IT14 Pro introduces a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with dedicated AI acceleration for a revolutionary user experience.
Offering diversity and power, GEEKOM introduces the A8Max, the world’s first Mini PC with an AMD Hawk Point Ryzen 8040 chip. With Ryzen 7 8840HS and Ryzen 9 8940HS processor options, both featuring dedicated NPUs for AI, the A8Max packs Zen 4 CPU cores and a Radeon 780M i-GPU optimized for AI workloads.
For gaming aficionados, the APro8 Max steals the show, armed with the AMD Ryzen 8940H CPU and AMD RX 7600M XT discrete graphics card. Delivering gaming performance on par with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060, the APro8 Max utilizes AMD SmartShift technology for dynamic power optimization between the CPU and GPU, promising an immersive experience with enhanced power efficiency.
