On Dec. 19, Nubia unveiled the Z60 Ultra in China. Following a pre-order period, the brand held its first official sale today. To resounding success, the Z60 Ultra achieved impressive sales across all channels, exceeding one billion yuan in revenue within just a single second.

The Nubia Z60 Ultra is available in multiple variants in China, such as 12 GB + 256 GB for 4,299 Yuan (~$601), 16 GB RAM + 512 GB for 4,699 Yuan (~$658), 16 GB + 1 TB for 5,299 Yuan (~$740), and 24 GB + 1 TB for 5,999 Yuan (~$839). The base model is available with a discounted price of 3,999 Yuan (~$559) on the first sale. In addition, the brand is also offering the Starry Night (blue) edition of the device with a 16 GB + 512 GB configuration for 4,999 Yuan (~$699). The phone comes in two colors, such as black and silver.

The Nubia Z60 Ultra has a 6.8-inch OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the display, the device is equipped with a 12-megapixel front-facing camera and a fingerprint sensor. It comes preinstalled with My OS 14-based Android 14.

Under the hood, the Z60 Ultra has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. It has a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. There is no support for wireless charging on the device.

The rear camera setup of the Nubia Z60 Ultra features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 primary camera with OIS support. It is complemented by an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50E ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS support.
