POCO is preparing to announce a brand-new X series smartphone in the Indian market soon. The lineup in question is the POCO X6 series, and now, a new teaser hints at the chipset that could power the device. So let’s have a look.

POCO X6 to debut with Dimensity 8300 Ultra

In an official X post, the Chinese smartphone maker shares an image poster that states that an upcoming POCO smartphone will debut with the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC. The company adds that the chipset will be the most powerful chipset for its segment. For those unaware, the Dimensity 8300 Ultra is somewhat comparable to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

While the latest teaser doesn’t specifically state that the Dimensity 8300 Ultra will be equipped on the POCO X6, the company’s India head Himanshu Tandon previously shared a teaser for the POCO X6 series earlier this week. In other words, it is likely the POCO X6 lineup, which was previously rumored to come with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The POCO X6 5G surfaced on the TDRA and NBTC earlier this month as well. An FCC listing also confirms that the X6 Pro arrives with 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB storage configurations.

Based on what we know so far, the POCO X6 Pro model sports a tall 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 120Hz refresh rate, and more. Under the hood, a large 5,500mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 67W fast charging support. The rear packs a 64-megapixel triple camera setup, while the front houses a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. So stick around for more as we will be providing more updates.
