Sony India has just launched a new product that aims to make gaming a lot more accessible. Earlier this month, the company unveiled the Access Controller for the PlayStation 5. Now, this device is making its way to the Indian market. So here are all the details.

Sony releases Access Controller for PS5 in India

The Japanese tech giant’s new Access Controller is built to help players with disabilities. It aims to make gaming more accessible, fulfilling the special needs for many. Looking at the new peripheral, the controller launched with a customizable analog stick, which you can also adjust via a slider. Furthermore, it comes with holes in the base tht allows you to fasten it to prevent accidental drops.

There is a bunch of customization as well, which includes 19 swappable button caps and three stick caps. To recall, Sony developed the Access Controller in collaboration with AbleGamers, which is a non-profit organization aimed at making accessibility more common in gaming. The Access Controller houses four 3.5mm ports that can be used to connect additional buttons like trigger switch and other compatible accessories. Since this controller only comes with one joystick, you can pair it with another Access Controller or a DualSense controller.

Pricing and Availability

Sony has launched the Access Controller for PS5 for a price tag of 7,700 INR (roughly 93 US Dollars). The device is available for purchase via Amazon India, GamesTheShop, and ShopAtSC. Although, it is currently listed for a discounted pricing of 7,052 INR. Similar to DualSense, the Access controller comes in two color options, namely White and Black.
