Samsung is delivering the Android 14 treats early for Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus owners. The update, based on One UI 6, brings a fresh coat of paint and new features to the tablet.

For now, the update is only available in Turkey and Australia, but it’s likely to reach other regions soon. You can expect a download size of around 2GB, and once installed, your Tab S9 FE Plus will be on the November 2023 security patch and will have a software version X610XXU1BWK9 / X610OJM1BWKA.

Among the new features included in this update, you’ll find a revamped DeX mode that blends the original DeX experience with the familiar One UI (via GSMArena). This should offer more flexibility for those who like to use their tablets like PCs. There’s also a redesigned control panel for easier access to settings.

Just like any over-the-air update, the rollout for the Tab S9 FE+ might take a few days to reach everyone, even within the lucky launch regions. So, don’t worry if you haven’t received the notification yet. But with 2024 just around the corner, hopefully, you’ll be enjoying Android 14 on your Tab S9 FE+ soon.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ in October this year. It comes with a 12.4-inch IPS LCD with 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by an Exynos 1380 SoC, complete with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
