AYANEO recently teased the AYANEO Flip KB & DS handheld gaming consoles, both powered by Windows. In a live broadcast held yesterday, additional details about these consoles have been revealed.

The AYANEO Flip KB model features a full keyboard, while the Flip DC boasts dual screens, drawing inspiration from the Nintendo DS. Both consoles maintain a standard handheld layout.

AYANEO FLIP consoles specs

The FLIP series showcases a damping hinge flip design, enabling full-angle rotation and 180° complete unfolding. Equipped with a 7″ 1080p display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate, the consoles deliver a bright viewing experience with 400 nits brightness and full sRGB color gamut coverage. Available in classic black and white colors.

Powered by AMD Ryzen 7 7840U, providing performance comparable to the Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip, the consoles feature an OCuLink interface, allowing connectivity to an external graphics card.

AYANEO FLIP consoles specs

The FLIP series consoles prioritize precise control experiences with tactile switch buttons, Hall-sensing joysticks, and Hall triggers. Adding to the immersion, they include an X-axis linear motor and a six-axis gyroscope. For easy control and navigation, an optical finger mouse sensor is integrated into the console.

The FLIP DS model introduces a 3.5-inch secondary display. Both consoles come equipped with a UHS-II MicroSD card reader and an M.2 2230 slot supporting up to PCIe 4.0 SSDs. Additionally, the consoles feature USB4 and USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports.
