Chinese electronics company Skyworth has launched the 100A7D, a 100-inch 4K TV that takes inspiration from Samsung’s Frame TV lineup. Similar to the Frame, the 100A7D is designed to blend seamlessly into your home decor, boasting a paper-like screen that can be customized with over 200 world-famous paintings and a sleek, wall-mountable design.

The 100A7D has a 100-inch paper-like screen featuring a 12 million:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of 1200 nits. It also covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports PWM dimming and MEMC motion compensation.

Not to forget, it has a 4K resolution and a 288Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for gaming and watching movies and the TV has also passed TUV Rheinland Eye Protection Certification, so you can watch for hours without straining your eyes.

Just like Samsung’s Frame TV lineup, one of the highlight features of the 100A7D is its built-in art gallery. The TV comes with over 200 world-famous paintings that you can display on the screen. This makes the TV a great way to add a touch of culture to your home.

It is also equipped with a powerful sound system co-developed with Harman Kardon. The system has 11 speakers and a peak power output of 210W. The TV also supports far-field voice control, so you can control it with your voice.

The 100A7D is powered by a quad-core processor and has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It runs the Coocaa system 9.2, which is a custom version of the Android TV operating system.

As for connectivity, it comes with a variety of ports, including two HDMI 2.1 ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports, one USB-A 3.0 port, one USB-A 2.0 port, one AV input port, one RF input port, one optical output port, and one RJ45 Ethernet port.

The Skyworth 100A7D 100-inch 4K wallpaper TV is available now in China for 17,999 yuan (~ $2534.93).  This is significantly cheaper compared to Samsung’s smaller 85-inch Frame TV, priced at $4,300 in the US, even though both TVs offer similar features. It is currently available for purchase in China via JD.com
