Vivo is working on a Y-series smartphone. It is dubbed the Vivo Y28 5G. The smartphone had surfaced in a leak revealing its design and price in India. Now, the Vivo Y28 5G has been spotted on the Google Play Console certification. The upcoming device is expected to arrive as the successor to the Vivo Y27 5G. Read on to know the details below.

Vivo Y28 5G surfaces on Google Play Console

The Vivo Y28 5G is listed on the Google Play Console certification with model number V2315. A render of the phone shows a waterdrop notch and a thick bottom chin. Meanwhile, the back panel has a dual-tone design with two camera rings. 

As per the certification listing, the Vivo Y28 5G will be equipped with a MediaTek MT6833 processor. It comprises of two Cortex-A76 at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores ticking at 2GHz. There is Mali G57 GPU onboard. The chipset configuration corresponds to the MediaTek Dimensity 700. The device is listed with 4GB RAM onboard. The smartphone will have a display resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels and a 300 DPI screen density. The Vivo Y28 5G will ship with Android 13 OS out of the box. 

Meanwhile, the leaked marketing material revealed that the Vivo Y28 5G will come in Crystal Purple and Glitter Aqua color options. The leaked pricing suggests that the 4GB + 128GB option will cost Rs 13,999. The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB models are tipped to be priced Rs 15,499 and Rs 16,999 respectively.
