CES 2024 is in full swing with a host of product announcements leaping in every now and then. Audiomakers Sennheiser announced new earbuds whereas JBL launched the latest earbuds, headphone collection, and more. JBL also updated its Bluetooth speaker lineup with new offerings. These include the JBL Xtreme 4, Clip 5, and Go 4 with the last two being portable offerings. 

JBL Xtreme 4, Clip 5, Go 4 specs and features 

The JBL Xtreme 4 is a cylindrical-shaped speaker. Audio-wise, the speaker is equipped with two woofers, two powerful drivers, and dual bass radiators. There is AI Sound Boost that analyzes sound in real-time with AI algorithm for delivering a powerful and crystal-clear sound. The speaker is backed by a replaceable battery that is claimed to offer 24 hours of usage. There is a power bank feature for charging smartphones. 

The JBL Clip 5 features a slightly wider carabiner that allows users to clip on to more items. JBL says that this speaker packs 40 percent increase in driver power and an updated sound system delivering 15 percent louder and 10 percent more bass compared to the previous model. The speaker is said to deliver a battery life of 12 hours. 

Meanwhile, the JBL Go 4 has received its fourth iteration. It is the smallest speaker in the brand’s portfolio. The audio maker says that the latest offering packs more robust sound and punchier bass than its predecessor. The Go 4 is rated to 7 hours of battery life on a single charge. 

The JBL Xtreme 4, Clip 5, and Go 4 are IP67-certified dust and water-resistant. The trio supports Bluetooth 5.3 with LE audio. The brand has also introduced Auracast on all speakers which allows the ability to connect the speakers to multiple audio devices.
