At CES 2024, Lenovo unveiled two new additions to its popular Legion gaming desktop series: the Legion Tower 5i and 7i. These towers cater to different segments of the gaming market, offering a choice between affordability and raw power.
Legion Tower 5i
Starting at €1,599in Europe or $1,249 in the US, the Legion Tower 5i aims to deliver value-driven performance for both casual and competitive gamers. Its compact 28-liter chassis houses a Legion B660 MATX motherboard that supports the latest 13th Gen Intel Core processors, including the powerful i9-13900F.
It’s paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card making it capable of handling even demanding titles. Likewise, the memory option includes 32GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and a 2TB PCIe SSD.
Connectivity options are plentiful, with easy access to two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, a headphone jack, and a microphone jack on the front panel. The rear offers additional flexibility with a 2.5 Gigabit LAN port, multiple USB ports (including USB 2.0, 3.2 Gen1, and 3.2 Gen2), and dedicated audio ports.

Legion Tower 7i
The Legion Tower 7i is a beast designed for the most demanding gamers and starts at €2,699 in Europe and $2,699 in the US. It boasts an Intel Core i9-13900K processor and an unnamed NVIDIA RTX desktop GPU from the powerful 40 series lineup. This is paired with a whopping 64GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and a massive 6TB of PCIe 4.0 storage.
The I/O options are equally impressive, mirroring the 5i’s front panel ports and expanding even further on the rear with additional USB 3.2 Gen2 and Gen2 Type-C ports, as well as dedicated audio ports with SPDIF. Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity complete the package.
