Sony has announced the nine games joining the PS Plus Extra library on Tuesday, January 16th. These games cover a range of genres, so there’s something for everyone.

If you’re a member of the PS Plus Extra tier, you already know that you have access to a large collection of rotating PS4 and PS5 games. This is in addition to the free monthly games available to all PS Plus subscribers.

PS Plus Extra is great for those who want more than the free monthly games offered in the Essential tier. It gives you access to a constantly changing selection of games. The new games coming to PS Plus Extra in January 16 are:

  • Hardspace: Shipbreaker (PS5 only): Slice and dice spaceships for scrap in this zero-gravity survival sim.
  • Just Cause 3: Wreak havoc in a tropical paradise with explosive action and over-the-top stunts.
  • LEGO City Undercover: Go undercover as a cop in a wacky open-world LEGO adventure.
  • Resident Evil 2: Face the iconic Mr. X and other terrifying creatures in this chilling horror remake.
  • Session: Skate Sim: Master the art of skateboarding with realistic controls and challenging tricks.
  • Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun: Command a team of ninja and samurai in this stealthy tactical strategy game.
  • Surviving the Aftermath: Build a thriving colony in a post-apocalyptic world filled with threats and opportunities.
  • Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Next-Level Edition: Blast through a chaotic D&D-inspired world with guns and magic in this Borderlands spin-off.
  • Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong: Immerse yourself in the dark and seductive world of vampires in this narrative RPG.

To make room for these newcomers, nine other games are leaving the Extra tier on January 16th. So, if you haven’t checked out Devil May Cry 5, It Takes Two, or SnowRunner yet, now’s your chance!
