Realme is soon going to launch the Realme 12 Pro series this month in multiple markets. The most exciting feature of the series is that the 12 Pro will come equipped with a telephoto camera, whereas the 12 Pro+ will be equipped with a periscope telephoto camera. Several reports have revealed that the Realme 12 Pro+ will be equipped with a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera, which is typically seen on a 4,000 Yuan (~$563)-priced smartphone in China. Realme China confirmed that the said camera will offer a 3x optical zoom, a 6x lossless zoom, and a 120Hz digital zoom.

Realme Espana has confirmed that the Realme 12 Pro series will feature the Sony IMX890 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. Hence, it appears that the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ will both feature the IMX890 primary snapper. Other reports have revealed that both phones will have an 8-megapixel camera for ultra-wide shots.

As far as selfie shots are concerned, the TENAA listings have revealed that the Pro model will have a 16-megapixel front camera, whereas the Pro+ will be equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ are expected to feature the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and 7s Gen 2 chipsets, respectively. Both smartphones will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display and a 5,000mAh battery. It seems that, like the Realme 11 Pro series, the 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ may come with support for 67W and 100W fast charging, respectively.
