Intel recently released a new processor, the Core i7-14790F, featuring 16 cores and a maximum frequency of 5.40 GHz. It’s specifically available in China and can be identified by its black packaging. Despite its higher numerical designation compared to the i7-14700F, it has 4 fewer CPU cores. The cache increases by 3MB in line with the usual series. On the JD platform’s official store, these processors are priced at 2,909 yuan.

In addition, Intel also released the i5-14490F with a lower configuration, which has 10 cores and 16 threads, a turbo frequency of 4.9 GHz, and 24 MB of cache. It is priced at 1,659 yuan. The i5-14400F with a turbo frequency of 4.7 GHz and 20 MB of cache is also priced at 1,659 yuan.
