Last year, the HTech brand in India resurrected the Honor brand by announcing the Honor 90 5G. Last week, the company started teasing the arrival of a new smartphone in the country. While the company did not reveal the name of the device, it is quite evident from its look that it is the Honor X9b, which debuted in some markets in October 2023. Madhav Sheth, HTech CEO, has recently released a teaser showcasing drop tests of the Honor X9b at various heights. This demonstration aims to highlight the durability of the smartphone’s display.

Honor X9b India launch teased again

Although Sheth hasn’t explicitly revealed the phone’s name in the latest teaser, the “X” in the post strongly suggests it will be an X-series phone. The teaser showcases the Honor X9b, with its distinctive curved-edge display, undergoing rigorous drop tests from various heights, including waist level, shoulder height, 8 feet, and even an extreme height. Remarkably, the display emerges from the tests completely unscathed, with no visible damage.

Honor has employed similar teasers in other markets where the X9b has been released to highlight the impressive durability of its screen. Here is a look at the expected specifications of the X9b.
