ROG has recently launched the Falchion RX Low Profile (LP) three-mode mechanical keyboard, now available for pre-order in China. Let’s check out the key specs of this keyboard.

The Falchion RX LP features a compact 65% layout with 68 keys, incorporating the newly developed RX low-profile switches. These switches offer a quick actuation distance of just 1mm and a total travel distance of 2.8mm, ensuring faster response times. The switches are designed for stability and performance, featuring a square volcano mouth structure and central illumination for better backlighting. These switches have a lifespan of approximately 100 million keystrokes. The keyboard also comes with dual-layer sound-dampening foam that reduces key noise and improves key feel.
The mechanical keyboard comes with a touch-based volume slider and multi-function button, providing users with convenient controls for adjusting volume, skipping tracks, and managing RGB brightness. These features allow the keyboard to remain feature-rich while maintaining a compact form factor, making it a versatile and space-saving option compared to other keyboards.
The keyboard supports triple connectivity options, including wired Type-C, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz wireless, making it versatile for various setups. Its battery life is impressive. It allows you to game for up to 108 hours with RGB lighting at 50% brightness or a remarkable 436 hours with RGB turned off. In Bluetooth mode, it can last up to 575 hours with brightness at 0%.
Asus also provides efficient connectivity with the ROG Omni wireless receiver, enabling both keyboard and mouse to connect to a single receiver. It offers three adjustable height levels, supports AuraSync RGB synchronization for customizable lighting, features driverless macro recording, and comes with UV-coated ABS keycaps for durability and a premium tactile experience.
The Armoury Crate software provided with the keyboard helps in unifying system settings and lighting control, allowing users to easily customize their experience. Additionally, the keyboard is versatile, supporting macOS and allowing easy switching between Windows and Mac modes with a simple switch toggle.
Pricing and Availability
ROG Falchion RX LP is now up for pre-order on JD.com. This keyboard comes in two variants: the red switch model priced at 1299 yuan ($182) and the blue switch model at 1399 yuan ($196), each requiring a 100 yuan ($14) deposit.
Asus recently unveiled the ROG Phone 8 Series in China, featuring a new design and powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. In addition, two days ago, they introduced the Asus Rog RX Eva Edition Keyboard and Blade 3 EVA Edition Mouse, which are priced at 599 and 799 yuan, respectively.
