Chinese electronics company XGIMI is known for its range of projectors . The company has unveiled its latest laser projector, the RS 10 Mini in China. The new XGIMI RS 10 Mini delivers a maximum brightness of 800 ISO lumens and the new product bears a semblance to the RS 10 Ultra. It offers optimized image output and versatile use, thanks to its gimbal.

The new compact laser projector comes with a native 1080p resolution and has a gimbal stand that allows 140º pitch with 360º pan. This means that the projector can be used on walls and ceilings in your home. The gimbal is used to provide real-time surface correction, supported by the Eagle Eye feature, as well as a CMOS camera and 3D ToF sensors. It offers automatic screen alignment, obstacle avoidance, and adaptation to the wall color.

The Dual Light 2.0 feature of the XGIMI RS 10 Mini allows the user to choose from two triple laser light sources, with one of the sources featuring eye protection. The projector covers 110% of the BT.2020 color space and supports HDR10 and HLG video formats. A built-in 24W sound system provides the needed sound output for the projector and it is compatible with Dolby Audio and DTS HD. The projector supports MEMC smoothing and voice controls. It runs on GMUI 6.0 OS and screen casting via Wi-Fi is also supported. The XGIMI RS 10 Mini laser projector has HDMI 2.0 (ARC) and USB 2.0 ports for direct connections.

The XGIMI RS 10 Mini laser projector is available on pre-order in China for 3,699 yuan ($516). There are however no details yet on the possible availability of the new XGIMI laser projector in other markets.
