Colorful has introduced the 2024 version of Evol P15, a powerful gaming laptop, into the Chinese market. This new laptop is initially priced at 5899 yuan ($819) in China and can be purchased on JD.com. The 2023 version of Evol P15 was launched last year in September in India with very similar specs.

The laptop is equipped with a 13th-generation Intel Core i7-13620H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU. This powerful combination ensures the laptop can handle demanding games and applications with ease. The i7-13620H processor features a 10-core and 16-thread configuration, with a turbo frequency of up to 4.9GHz. It utilizes Intel’s 7nm process technology, offering a blend of performance and efficiency.
The laptop’s graphical prowess is further enhanced by the inclusion of the RTX 4060 graphics card, which comes with 8GB of dedicated memory. This GPU is based on NVIDIA’s Ada Lovelace architecture and supports DLSS 3, enabling advanced AI-driven performance improvements. The RTX 4060 also incorporates real-time ray tracing for lifelike graphics and Max-Q technology for optimized power consumption and performance.
In terms of memory and storage, the Evol P15 comes with 16GB of DDR5-5200 RAM, expandable up to 64GB. For storage, it has a 512GB M.2 SSD, and there’s an additional M.2 slot for expansion, supporting PCIe 4.0×4 SSDs.
The laptop’s 15.6-inch display offers a resolution of 2560×1440 (QHD) and a high refresh rate of 165Hz, ideal for esports and high-paced gaming. It covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut, ensuring vibrant and accurate colors. The cooling system is robust, featuring HAF 2.0 architecture with dual fans and six heat pipes, which effectively manage heat for sustained performance.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E for fast and stable wireless networking, an RJ45 Ethernet port, HDMI, DP 1.4, multiple USB 3.2 ports, and a USB 2.0 port. The laptop also supports Thunderbolt 4 for high-speed external connections.
Design-wise, the laptop showcases a futuristic, sci-fi-inspired look, available in Misty White. It’s relatively compact, measuring about 361mm in length, 247mm in width, and 24.9mm in thickness.
The Evol P15 gaming laptop boasts a full-size keyboard complete with a numeric keypad and 15-color backlighting for customization. It also comes with Windows 11 pre-installed.
