Motorola has just unveiled two new G series smartphone models in the European market. The models in question are the Moto G04 and the Moto G24, which were recently spotted in leaks and certifications. So here are all the details regarding their official pricing, specs, and more.
Moto G24 Specs
The Moto G24 is the more premium option between the two budget phones. It sports a 6.6-inch display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and 537 nits of brightness. Under the hood, the device is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC that is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can further expand memory and storage via a microSD card slot (up to 1TB) and virtual RAM expansion (up to 8GB). The G24 measures 7.99mm in thickness and weighs 180 grams in weight.
The rear packs a 50-megapixel primary camera that is paired with a 2-megapixel macro shooter and LED flash. Meanwhile, the front houses an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. A large 5,000mAh battery pack powers the Moto G24, which also supports 15W fast charging. Other notable features include a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, side mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 14 OS based My UX, IP52 water and dust resistance, and Bluetooth 5.0.
Moto G04 Specs
Despite being a budget grade model, the Moto G04 also sports a 6.6-inch display that also offers a 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. The Moto G24 and G04 look quite similar in terms of design, but the brand has made small downgrades to lower the price tag. It features a UNISOC T606 processor that is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. This model also offers 4GB or 8GB of virtual RAM expansion. In terms of dimensions, this device also weighs 180 grams and measures 7.99mm in thickness.
On the rear, the Moto G04 packs a lone 16-megapixel camera and an LED flash, while the front houses a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. A 5,000mAh battery pack also powers this phone that supports standard 10W charging. Other noteworthy specs are the 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, IP52 dust and resistance, side mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 14 OS based My UX, and Bluetooth 5.1.
Pricing and Availability
Both smartphones were announced in multiple color options. The Moto G04 is listed in Concord Black, Sea Green, Satin Blue, and Sunrise Orange. On the other hand, the G24 comes in Ice Green, Pink Lavender, Blueberry, and Matte Charcoal. The former has a price tag of 119 Euros (roughly 129 US Dollars), while the latter costs 129 Euros (roughly 140 US Dollars). These are currently available for purchase in Europe and are set to be released in other regions as well. This includes Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific markets in the coming weeks.
