While this update brings welcome improvements, users are still waiting for Oxager for OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14. OnePlus released its latest custom skin back in September with a bunch of new features including File Dock, Content Extraction, and Smart cutout.

OnePlus hasn’t shared any official timeline for Android 14’s arrival on the OnePlus Open, but OnePlus has started the Open Beta 2 rollout in India. So we might still need to wait for a few weeks to get hands-on on the latest OS.

Nevertheless, the company has been delivering a timely update for its first foldable. OnePlus Open users can check for the January update by heading to Settings > About device > OxygenOS > Check for update.
