Samsung has launched its first Online-to-Offline (O2O) lifestyle store, Samsung BKC, at Jio World Plaza in Mumbai, India. This flagship store, spreading across 8,000 sq ft, is located in the bustling Bandra Kurla Complex. It aims to offer a unique shopping experience by blending the convenience of online shopping with the benefits of an in-store experience.

Samsung BKC is designed to showcase Samsung’s premium products, including smartphones, televisions, refrigerators, and washing machines. It also provides an opportunity for customers to explore Samsung’s latest AI solutions. The store offers both online shopping convenience and in-store hands-on experiences. Customers can choose from a wide range of products, get assistance from staff, and have products delivered across the country. Mumbai customers also have the option for a quick two-hour pickup from the store.

The store is divided into eight distinct zones, each focusing on different lifestyle aspects like gaming, art, fitness, cooking, and more. These zones demonstrate how Samsung’s products can enhance various activities, from gaming on an 85-inch 8K QLED TV to managing home energy with SmartThings AI Energy Mode. The Private Cinema zone, for example, provides an immersive movie-watching experience with a 110-inch MicroLED TV.

Samsung BKC places a special emphasis on attracting Gen Z and millennial customers by providing customization options such as personalized phone covers and color-matching bespoke refrigerators to home decor. The store also hosts workshops and events related to digital art, photography, fitness, and cooking, catering to the diverse interests of younger consumers.

The store features a Mobile Zone, highlighting Samsung’s flagship Galaxy devices, including the new Galaxy S24 series. Customers can experience and pre-book these devices starting January 23.

Samsung‘s decision to open Samsung BKC aligns with their strategy to strengthen their presence in India’s growing smartphone market. The company has regained the top spot in India’s smartphone sales and is focusing on expanding its premium phone segment.
