Samsung has unveiled a new line of Windows on Arm laptops, the Galaxy Book4 Edge series, featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite processors. Available in both 14-inch and 16-inch models, the Galaxy Book4 Edge boasts impressive portability with the 14-inch version weighing just 1.16kg (2.56 lbs) and being 10.9mm (0.43 inches) thin. The 16-inch model comes in slightly thicker at 12.3mm (0.48 inches) and a bit heavier at 1.55kg (3.42 lbs). The advertisement images for the laptop were leaked recently, check that out here.
The displays in both the models are touch-enabled.
Both models showcase stunning visuals with 3K (2880 x 1800) resolution AMOLED displays featuring a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. These displays offer exceptional brightness with 400 nits for SDR content and 500 nits for HDR content. Additionally, they support VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) technology for tear-free visuals, boast a wide 120% DCI-P3 color gamut, and are touch-enabled with 10-point multi-touch capability.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Book4 Edge series comes equipped with 16GB of RAM for multitasking ease. Battery life is rated at 55.9Wh for the 14-inch model and 61.8Wh for the 16-inch model. Both models offer a versatile selection of ports, including two USB4 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The 16-inch version adds further functionality with a USB 3.2 Type-A port and a microSD card reader.
The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge will hit the shelves on June 18th in select markets, including France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
