The POCO F6 Pro will be officially unveiled in the global market later this week. But ahead of any official announcement, the brand’s latest teaser has taken on South Korean tech giant Samsung and its flagship phone. The Chinese brand recently shared a teaser where it compared its upcoming F6 Pro against the Galaxy S24+. So let’s see which one appears better on paper.

POCO F6 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy S24+

To recall, the POCO F6 series will be announced on 23rd May 2024. These smartphones would also arrive with the brand’s first-ever tablet, the POCO Pad. To hype up the upcoming launch, POCO shared a new teaser that had the device pitted against the Galaxy S24+. The company claims that there is no competition in the price range the F6 Pro will launch in. The two devices were compared in various aspects.

POCO F6 Pro

Samsung’s Galaxy S24+ launched with the Exynos 2400, while the POCO F6 Pro arrives with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It supports 120W wired fast charging, which is quite a bit faster than the 45W wired fast charging on the Galaxy S24+. The latter sports a QHD+ 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 2600 nits of peak brightness and the former sports a WQHD+ 120Hz Flow AMOLED screen with 4000 nits of peak brightness. A large 5,000mAh battery pack powers the F6 Pro and the S24+ is powered by a 4,900mAh cell.

The F6 Pro has a premium metal frame and the S24+ has an Armor aluminum frame. Both devices offer a 50-megapixel triple camera setup with OIS. Apart from these specs, the pricing is likely another area where the F6 Pro may outclass Samsung’s current-gen flagship device. The Galaxy S24+ starts from 999 US Dollars and goes up to 1,199 US Dollars. Meanwhile, all three storage variants of the POCO F6 Pro with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage still won’t cross the 1000 US Dollar mark. So stick around for more as we will be covering the launch event soon.
