Samsung’s next vanilla flagship is showing up on more safety paperwork. The Galaxy S27 has now cleared UL Solutions (Demko) in Denmark, and the electrical ratings line up with 25W wired charging for a long list of global variants. That matches what China’s 3C filings already hinted at for the base model. Here’s a look at what the newest certifications have revealed.

Both listings rate the phone at 9V DC and 2.77A, or about 24.93W, which rounds to the familiar 25W marketing figure used on the Galaxy S26. The paperwork covers a wide map of SKUs, including SM-S952U and SM-S952U1 for the US, SM-S952W for Canada, SM-S9520 for China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, Japan codes SC-51H, SM-S952Q, and SM-S952Z, Europe’s SM-S952B and SM-S952B/DS, and SM-S952N for South Korea.

That spread is typical for a global S-series base model, and it suggests Samsung is keeping one charging ceiling across those regions rather than carving out a faster international-only path. The Plus and Ultra tiers have historically sat higher on wired charging, so this Demko pair is really about the standard S27, not a blanket claim for the whole lineup.

Wireless charging is not spelled out here. The S26 offered 15W wireless, and that is still the working assumption for the S27 until more filings appear. Battery size for the vanilla model is also open; recent TÜV paperwork has been clearer on the Pro and Ultra cells than on the base phone.

Samsung is still expected to bring a four-model S27 series early next year, likely in a late-January or early-February window. Privacy-display talk is now stretching beyond the Ultra, and regional chipset splits between Exynos and Snapdragon remain unconfirmed. For now, the Demko pair mainly locks in that the international Galaxy S27 is not jumping past 25W wired charging, the same ceiling the base S models have held for years.
