This combination suggests that the Realme 12 Pro series will deliver exceptional photography. To further elevate the camera experience, Realme has partnered with Oscar-winning cinematographer Claudio Miranda, aiming to deliver a cinematic portrait experience.

Claudio Miranda is a prominent figure in the film industry. He is well-known for his work on Ang Lee’s “Life of Pi,” which earned him the Academy Award for Best Cinematography. His collaboration with David Fincher on “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” the first film shot entirely digitally and nominated for an Academy Award, solidified his status as a cinematic visionary.
The collaboration of Mirana and Realme for the upcoming 12 Pro series results in the inclusion of three movie filters, such as Journey, Memory, and Maverick. These filters, which draw inspiration from classic movies like “Life of Pi,” “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” and “Top Gun: Maverick,” aim to evoke various atmospheres—dreamy, calm, capable, and retro with a cinematic feel.
Additionally, the Realme 12 Pro series allows users to capture moments in the 2.39:1 movie-wide format ratio. This capability allows photography enthusiasts to create cinematic-style portraits in a classic movie format. The 12 Pro series is also equipped with the Cinematic Bokeh Algorithm for an enhanced experience while shooting portrait shots with natural blurring and captivating light spots. Users can fine-tune aperture settings in real-time to achieve the ideal blur effect for portraits, ensuring the subject stands out distinctly with enhanced keying effects.
