Vivo launched the X100 Pro flagship smartphone back in November in China, while the global model made its debut in January. In the latest test version of OriginOS number 14.0.14.6, the brand has added an important camera feature to the Chinese model, while also fixing a bunch of bugs.

The Vivo X100 Pro‘s recent OriginOS update now lets you record 4K videos using the front camera. People were confused before because, even though the front camera and the device’s chip supported 4K recording, this feature wasn’t available on the flagship phone. It looks like Vivo might have added this option in response to competitors like Xiaomi 14 Pro and Oppo Find X7 Ultra, which already offered 4K recording on their front cameras. Other than that, OriginOS 14.0.14.6 brings a bunch of improvements and bug fixes with the update. You can check out the complete changelog below.
