Last year, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in April in China. Several reports have claimed that the 14 Ultra will debut earlier than its predecessor. It appears that the company’s executive has already started teasing its arrival, hinting that it may debut in February in China. A Chinese leaker with a decent track record has also claimed that it will break cover in the next month.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra launch timeframe (rumored)

According to the tipster, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra equipped with the Leica Summilux lens is tentatively scheduled to go official by the end of February. Just as recent reports have claimed, the primary camera of the device is expected to support a variable aperture range of f/1.63 to f/4.0.

Recent reports have revealed that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will feature the LYT-900 50-megapixel camera with a one-inch sensor as its main camera. The 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera of the device is expected to offer up to 120 mm of focal length. The quad-camera system may include a 50-megapixel IMX8-series ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera.

Although there have been leaks providing some information about the additional cameras on the phone, precise details have not been confirmed yet. Some reports have claimed that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra may also come equipped with an under-display camera.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and support for two-way satellite connectivity. A 5,180mAh battery that supports 50W wireless charging and 90W wired charging is likely to power the device.

In terms of design, the 14 Ultra may not offer overhaul improvements. The device is expected to arrive in shades such as blue, orange, and black. While the first one will have a glass back, the other two are said to feature silicon skin.

There is a possibility that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra may debut during the MWC 2024 tech exhibition, which will be held by the end of February. It is likely that the Xiaomi Pad 7 series may also debut alongside the 14 Ultra.
