The monitor boasts a 49-inch QD-OLED panel with 5120×1440 dual 2K resolution and 32:9 aspect ratio. Its 1800R curvature is intended to increase immersion and reduce eye strain during extended use.
Key to the ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD’s appeal is its focus on speed and precision. The monitor boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and a rapid 0.03 milliseconds response time, aiming to provide smooth gameplay and reduce motion blur. This is particularly beneficial for fast-paced games where quick response times are crucial.
In terms of visual quality, the monitor achieves a peak brightness of 1000 nits and supports DisplayHDR True Black 400. With a 99% DCI-P3 color gamut and 10-bit color depth, it promises accurate color reproduction.
