Last week, MINISFORUM unveiled the HX100G, a new mini PC that succeeds the previous HX99G model. This new model is now up for sale in China from JD.com. Let’s check out the key specs of this mini PC.

MINISFORUM HX100G stands out for its compact size, taking up only 2.9 liters of space, ideal for environments with limited space. Its small form factor is a significant advantage for users seeking powerful computing without the bulk of traditional desktops. Additionally, its chassis is made of lightweight yet durable carbon fiber material, giving it a sleek and modern appearance while maintaining portability and robustness for regular use.
HX100G is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor, a significant step up from its predecessor. The Ryzen 7 7840HS, built on a 4 nm process, features 8 cores and 16 threads, with a base frequency of 3.8 GHz and a maximum boost of 5.1 GHz. This processor also includes a 16 MB L3 cache and supports the Radeon 780M integrated GPU.
For graphics, the HX100G incorporates the AMD Radeon RX 6650M GPU with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory. This dedicated graphics card, capable of up to 100 watts TDP, is designed for high-quality 1080p AAA gaming, as well as professional tasks like photo editing, 4K video editing, and 3D rendering. The graphics card also supports AMD Smart Access Memory technology.
The Mini PC offers robust expandability with two DDR5 memory slots, supporting up to 64 GB of dual-channel memory at 5600 MHz. For storage, it features an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD slot supporting up to 2 TB, and an additional M.2 2280 slot for NGFF SATA or NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSDs.
The HX100G boasts an advanced cooling system with liquid metal cooling, dual fans, and a 7-heat pipe system (3 for the CPU and 4 for the GPU). It also has dedicated heatsinks for DDR and SSD, ensuring efficient heat dissipation and low noise levels.
In terms of connectivity, the HX100G includes various USB 3.2 ports, 2 USB4 ports, 2 HDMI ports, RJ45 2.5G Ethernet, and can support dual 8K@60 Hz displays via USB4 and dual 4K@60 Hz displays via HDMI. The system’s chassis is made from carbon fiber, balancing durability and lightweight design within its 2.9 L volume.
Pricing
The barebone version of the HX100G is priced at 4,799 yuan ($675), while configurations with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD, or 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD, are priced at 5599 yuan ($788) and 5799 yuan ($816) respectively. The top-tier model with 64GB RAM and 2TB SSD is priced at 7199 yuan ($1,013).
The HX100G comes with a 3-year official warranty. Accessories include a packaging box, HDMI cable, power adapter and cable, base plate, support bracket, and installation screws. The operating system pre-installed is Windows 11 Professional.
