TCL has just launched an affordable smartphone in the global market called the TCL 505. The phone features a flat design with two cameras on the back along with a reflective finish. The phone has a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and 400 nits brightness equipped with technology to reduce blue light exposure and minimize reflections.

Powered by a Helio G36 chipset, the TCL 505 includes 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with the option to expand via microSD card. Users will have the option to virtually increase the RAM by an additional 4GB, improving its performance in demanding tasks.

Photography on the TCL 505 is handled by a 50MP main camera, featuring a 1/2.55-inch sensor with 0.7μm pixels, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 5MP front camera for selfies. The phone also features dual speakers for a more immersive audio experience during media playback.

Battery life is a key focus, with a 5,010mAh battery supporting 10W charging to ensure the device can last through the day on a single charge.

The TCL 505 is available in Ocean Blue and Space Grey, continuing the design language of the TCL 50 series. While TCL has yet to announce pricing details for the 505, the device is expected to be competitively priced within the market.
