One notable aspect of the Quantum Crypto Alliance’s initiative is its adoption of four algorithms from the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) first batch of quantum encryption standardization projects. These algorithms include CRYSTALS-Kyber, CRYSTALS-Dilithium, Falcon, and SPHINCS+, which will serve as the foundation for further development and refinement.

In line with its commitment to openness and collaboration, the Quantum Crypto Alliance has launched two key projects: the Open Quantum Safe project and the PQ Encryption Algorithm Project (PQ Code Package). The former is hailed as the world’s first open-source encryption algorithm capable of resisting quantum computer attacks, while the latter aims to establish a series of definable encryption levels in conjunction with the ML-KEM algorithm.

Moreover, to facilitate broader participation and engagement, the Quantum Crypto Alliance has made existing resources readily accessible on GitHub. Interested stakeholders and partners can access these resources to contribute to the development and refinement of quantum encryption algorithms.
