ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has officially launched the ROG Carnyx, a professional-grade condenser microphone, in the Chinese market. The microphone was introduced earlier this month in the global market.

The Carnyx boasts a studio-grade 25mm condenser capsule, capturing the user’s voice with nuance and clarity. This, combined with the high-resolution 192 kHz / 24-bit sampling rate, ensures professional-level audio quality, ideal for capturing gameplay commentary, streaming live sessions, or creating high-quality voiceovers.
Crystal-clear audio is further enhanced by a built-in high-pass filter that eliminates low-frequency rumble and a pop filter that minimizes plosives, ensuring smooth and professional-sounding recordings. The microphone also features a premium metal shock mount with an elastic cord, effectively isolating it from external vibrations and desk noise for pristine sound quality.
With user-friendliness in mind, the Carnyx connects to PCs via a single USB cable and is compatible with standard 3/8-inch threaded boom arms, allowing for flexible positioning.
