Earlier this week, Nothing officially revealed the launch date for its upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Phoone (2a). Leading up to the launch, the smartphone has been frequently appearing in leaks and rumors. In a recent development, the Nothing Phone (2a) has surfaced in an AnTuTu 10 benchmark listing.

In the benchmark, the Phone (2a) achieved an impressive combined AnTuTu 10 score of 738,164. This includes strong results in the CPU, GPU, memory, and user experience categories.

The device has also been compared with the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ (middle) which has the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset rumored to be used in the Nothing Phone (2a) and OnePlus Nord CE 3 with Snapdragon 782 5G chip. And the Phone (2a) outperforms both smartphones in the overall score.

While that’s it from this leak, Previous reports have offered us a glimpse into Nothing Phone (2a)’s possible specifications. It’s likely to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution.

Under the hood, it may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, with options for 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.

In terms of photography, the Phone (2a) is expected to sport a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN9 main sensor alongside a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 ultrawide lens. Additionally, it’s expected to support 45W fast charging and run on Android 14 customized with Nothing OS 2.5.

The design of the Phone (2a) remains somewhat of a mystery. While high-quality renders shared by a well-known tipster turned out to be fake, the early design leaks might be accurate. It hasn’t been confirmed yet though.

Rumors suggest that the starting price for the Nothing Phone (2a) could be €349 for the base model with 8GB/128GB configuration, while the higher-end 12GB/256GB version might be priced at €399.
