Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G HyperOS Update
The Redmi Note 11 Pro was released in 2021 and launched with MIUI 13 based on Android 11 out of the box. With today’s HyperOS update, the device is receiving its last major update. While this is sad, it’s important to remember that every device has a certain lifespan. It’s worth noting that the HyperOS update for the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G has some differences.
The first one is that the update is based on Android 13 and the smartphone will not receive the Android 14 update. Redmi Note 11 series is getting HyperOS based on Android 13. Since this update is based on Android 13, it may not have some new features compared to other devices. The HyperOS update build number for the Redmi Note 11 Pro is OS1.0.2.0.TGDMIXM.
At the moment, the update is only rolling out to Mi Pilots, but all users will have access to the HyperOS update in the future. At the same time as this update, the smartphone has also got the February 2024 security patch, which lowers the security risks.
