Xiaomi‘s ecological chain partner Roborock has launched the Qrevo MaxV robot vacuum in Germany. The new Roborock robot vacuum cleaner has a 7,000 Pa suction power, FlexiArm edge cleaning, and an automatic hot mop cleaning at the docking station. The Qrevo MaxV was announced last year and was on display during CES 2024 last January.

The Roborock Qrevo MaxV bears a close semblance in terms of functionality to the Dreame L20 Ultra from 2023. Both Roborock and Dreame are Xiaomi sub-brands and the similarity of the two robot vacuums seems not far-fetched. The Qrevo MaxV offers a maximum suction power of 7,000 Pa and features a rubber brush and two mopping pads with a top speed of 200 rpm at the rear. The robot vacuum’s FlexiArm Design mop provides up to 98.8% coverage of the edges of the room and can get as close as 1.85mm away from the wall. The brushes and mops can be lifted up based on the surface and cleaning settings. The docking station offers hot water mop washing, hot air drying, and auto emptying of the onboard tank and dustbin. Automatic dirt detection is also featured for effective washing.

Pricing & Availability

The new Roborock robot vacuum is offered for sale for €949 but the original price of the device is €999. Therefore the Roborock Qrevo MaxV is being offered at a discounted price in Germany. The gadget is expected to be launched in other EU markets subsequently. The Qrevo MaxV will retail in the US in April for $1,120. Roborock expects the new Qrevo MaxV vacuum cleaner will have a decent run in the market.
