Xiaomi’s new Mijia Smart Audio Glass

Features offered by last year’s Mijia Smart Audio Glasses

Xiaomi launched its Mijia Smart Audio Glasses last year for a price tag of 799 Yuan (~$110) with support for a noise reduction feature during calls. It was available in a total of five frame and sunglass styles including a square half-frame style, a full frame style.

Last year’s Mijia smart audio glass uses “open sound field technology” and is able to offer a 360-degree surround sound effect. This smart glass product comes with a dual-mic AI call noise reduction function and also supports intelligent enhancement for calls. In addition to that, it supports dual device connection and a 30mm long touchpad on both sides which enables seamless implementation of tough gesture functions. It also comes with an IP54 dust and water resistance rating, which means protection from normal environmental dust and more importantly, protection from water splashes.

In terms of battery life, this smart glass can reportedly last 1 week on standby, more than 22 hours in regular usage, and more than 10 hours with continuous music listening or more than 7 hours of calling. Not to mention, the successor to this product, which is just four days away from launch at this point, is expected to perform with even better power efficiency.
