Motorola is set to launch the Edge 50 Pro on April 3 in India, with plans for a global release as well. Recent leaks have provided details on the smartphone’s Indian pricing, storage, and color options, ahead of its official unveiling. With that said, a new report from tipster Paras Guglani (via PassionateGeeks has revealed the global pricing as well.
The tipster has shared a screenshot of an Italian retail website, in which, the Edge 50 Pro, equipped with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at €864. Its primary color option, dubbed “Black Beauty,” showcases the phone’s sleek design.
It is worth mentioning that an earlier report revealed that Indian consumers will also be getting a sole 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model. This model in India will come with a price of Rs 44,999 ($540/€500), with potential discounts lowering it to Rs 39,999 through bank offers. We usually see a price difference between the Indian and European markets, however, a €364 difference is quite steep.
Specifications at a Glance
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED curved display, offering Pantone-validated colors and a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. It also boasts a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.
At its core, the smartphone is confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It will ship with Android 14, and Motorola has promised three major Android updates.
For Photography, the phone will include a 50MP autofocus selfie camera and a rear camera with a f/1.4 aperture. The device is also rumored to have a wide-angle camera and a 6x zoom telephoto lens, although more details will be confirmed closer to the launch.
