The realme 12 Pro+ starts receiving a new update with version number RMX3841_14.0.0.805 (CN01) in China today. This realmeUI 5.0-based update is 1.2GB is size and packs a number of features and improvements including a new air gesture feature and the AIGC photo editing feature.

Earlier today we reported about the realme 12 Pro series’ AIGC photo editing feature that has previously started rolling out in the US and Japan. It lets you easily remove an object from the image just by drawing a circle around it. The feature is capable enough to recognize and remove the object and recreate the part of the background that was covered by the unwanted object.

The phone is powered by the 4 nm-based Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip. Another highlight of this phone is its 64 MP 3x telephoto camera. Aside from that, it equips a reasonably larger 1/1.56″, 1.0µm, 50MP main sensor and an additional 8 MP ultrawide. For selfies, this phone equips a 32MP front-facing camera.
